WrxFlame a.k.a Flame

WrxFlame aka Flame

Wrx Flame is one of our members who has joined BSC since 2008. This WRX is not an ordinary WRX. It was converted from WRX engine to STi engine. First conversion done was the short block of STi that was in place to get full performance, power and the feel of STi. It may look like stock from outside but you may not know what is hidden underneath the hood. Here I introduce WRXFLAME.

This WRX is fitted with full ChargeSpeed bodykit. From front and rear bumpers to ChargeSpeed side skirt. WRX spoiler is replaced with STi spoiler. Wheels are also replaced with aftermarket ones that look similar to Works CR Kai wheels.

We have covered the exterior, now we move on the engine parts. This might interest you guys. The owner spent more than B$10k for the WRX to STi conversion. You cannot under-estimate this 'REX'. Talking about the engine performance, this 'REX' was fitted with IHI Turbo VF35, which goes to more high-end power. So feel free to tail him from behind hehe kidding2x. STi pistons, conrods and some other engine parts were replaced with the combination of aftermarket and STi OEM performance parts. Stock Air Intake was swapped with Apexi air Intake. Billion air funnel and hose was installed to get more 'cooling air' to aid with better power performance. The stock radiator hose is also upgraded with Billion Radiator hose.

OEM STi Topmount Intercooler was in place and the fuel system is upgraded with Power Enteprise 255lph and SARD fuel regulator was installed to get the stability and realibility fuel delivery for the engine performance, Cuzco Oil catch tank is also used. Stock BOV is replaced with Blitz Blow off valve. Handling is also improved with Cusco Front Strut bar.

Interior remains stock like most of the members' rides, because we are not that fanatic with sound system and stuffs, but along with it comes some good gadgets like Defi meters and so on. Apexi SAFC Neo is also installed to at least fine tuned for this WRX. This REX has not been in dyno yet. However I reckon this REX can come up with good HP figure.

Enjoy the rest of the pics :)
